The project on the reservation is still funded by MY social security check, no one seems to want to help others.... So I am looking for a grant writer who can create a grant large enough  to purchase properties, and create housing and provide transportation for homeless people that have diabetis and/or cancer. I have 2 locations in mind. One in Washington state and the other in Colorado... Now that my husband has passed over, i am now homeless since i cant have a home site least here on the rez and my grand daughter has been told by her mom [my daughter] not to help by paying the atty to get her name on the home site. The homesite can be claimed by anyone the house is mine legally. So i would have to move the house from the property or leave it to be taken over by the ones who were witnessed killing him.... but that is another big issue for me...

I have no medications, food, running water, or gas for my truck to travel 100 miles each way to make a dr appt, since my phone will not call long distance.  I have quite a pickel here but i have dropped it in Gods lap, and i am sure he will do what he sees fit.... Thanks for your support and Prayers...

The small pup you see in the photo in one of my earlier post, is not only alive but enjoy a lot of free time to run and play outside. We still call him "Little Boy", and he has a younger brothe we call Little Sox, who also had a hard start in life. His is not yet as tall as Boy,but is slowly getting there.

Both are healthy and vacinated. Just wish we could get rid of the tics in our area and the contact mange from all the other animals that shows up here. Our dogs tend to car for each other by removing tics from each other and cleaning open ares on ears and such. We do visit our vet more than we would like, but at least we are all healthy....

We have some older dogs that are ready for re-homing at this time. Anyone who would like to donate for the care and feeding of these loving animals people dump off at the local center, any and all help is apreciated since one bag of food is $20.00 and feeds them for 3 days; 44pound bags that is... Long ago, someone said that each person who is born on earth has a "job to do". I realized in my life that i was not just a caretaker [Nurse}  I am also a Keeper of the Animals/ and my husband hates it!!!  He puts up with it tho... One of the surviving ups from a virus which went thru our pups killing them almost over nite, we lost 12 of them to what ever it was.. Vet still does not know either... >>> anyway this little guy is my husbands shadow, he makes ever move my husband does.... Unless hubby does not let him go outside when he feeds the horses, then he gets upset.. He is gaining strength and seems to be getting healthier each day.. and deffinately more active. He is now about the size of a small chawawa [? sp} My husband refuses to name him so he is presently answering to "Boy" His great grand ma was called "Girl" ....He has already figured out that my wheel chair is not a place for him or his feet to be under. So he gets in front of me when i am moving around so i can pick him up so he stays safe.

I can honestly say that i have known peoplle who are not as smart as some animals, that is maybe why my grand father told me that we are to learn from the animals how to conduct our lives>>> I had to be an adult with life experience to understand what his meaning was.  Growing up with my grand father was an experience in itself anyway....  Have a Blessed and wonderful Day!!!!

I would still like to see your art work. I bet it is beautiful. Simple is in now.haha Anyway sounds like God has given you the gift of mercy. I get so anxious when the dogs are hurt. I just don't know what to do sometimes.Mimi our little stray is hobbling right now. We do not know how old she is but I hate the thought of her hurting because she has always been there for me..We have another stray, Jake, He is solid black and I think part lab and chow..He is really a funny dog..Spoiled rotten. I will try to upload a picture. not sure how..We love our babies don't we?? Well thanks for the email. Its nice to here from others. Have a blessed day...Patticakej

We presently have 9 adult dogs, and 3 litters of pups left to be placed. Of those litters there are 2 handicaped. 1 is Skooter who was cought in a slamming door, the second a large airtank fell on his mom while he was searching for a milk bottle and the tank rolled on him and pinned his foot under it...I thougt he was a gonner. His neck muscles were in large knots. When my hubby got the tank off him , i began to pray for hiim, He lasted thru the night,[Sat] he woke up a little on Sunday, began to take fluids and puree food, in small amounts. Monday, he awoke hungry, and thirsty. We fed him soft food with out so much water, I put him back to sleep with the other pups.. Suddenly he found his way to his feet, wobbled a few steps and fell over. I am thinking he still has a concusion that needs to heal morre.... Tonight he managed to wobble himself after a few falls into the kitchen to eat with his litter mates. He is getting more control of his head, but his balance is still off. I plan to take him with on the day we go to the "doggie rehab" to getSkooters wheel chair and have him evlauated at that time for possible assisted needs... I am so very grateful his life has been spared he seems to just keep improving>>> I know the Angels are watching over him and caring hiim on orders from the Father above>>>> So far I have had a quiet day to witness a Merical in Progress so to speak.

These little kids [pups] just show me with thier courage and durability that life is worth living no matter how bad it seems . I get excited to see them do more eachday that they are improving. When only a couple of days ago i thought that the little guy would not make it thru the night, and I was shown differently.........

My jewelry is very simplistic and has not began to sell as of yet. Nor have my landscape photos i have for sale... Medicare only allows you so much that you can make in 1 year and i think it is ony $1500, in my case.. another 15K per year on what i have coming in now would bring me UP to the Povery line.... Just have to figure out how to feed us all from one month to the next... Prayers are always welcome and so would donations be too... It could be dog food, animal supplies, placement for some of the adults in new" loving good" homes. Some of our dogs have been dropped off near our home by those who do not want them, they usualy find their way here>>>    Blessings and Prayers your way>> Have a great day..
